Dear church family,
No doubt we are living in stressful and uncertain times, especially for those who have lost a loved one. As you know, the services for Jim Rose are scheduled for tomorrow. Unfortunately, with the circumstances of limiting crowds to no more than 10 people, this has placed a burden on the funeral home and the family. The visitation time for any visitor will be very brief and limited in size. Considering the family and the restrictions the funeral home is under means only a person or two allowed in at a time. If you fall into one of the high-risk categories, please do not feel obligated to come to the visitation. The family understands completely and desires for everyone to remain safe. The funeral service will be family-only.
Please continue to pray for Carol and her family during this difficult time. Cards of encouragement are welcomed and would mean much to Carol. It seems as though Jim is not receiving the honor due him at this time, but our Lord is always faithful and He is the Great Rewarder. Perhaps the best way to honor Jim and comfort the family is to follow Jim’s wishes and make a contribution to the “GO Fund,” remember to honor a veteran in some way, pray for the family, and love this country that Jim loved and served his entire life.
Thank you, church family, for honoring this request on behalf of the family.
P.S. Keep in mind Governor Justice’s stay-home order, effective 8:00 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, March 24) and how that may influence your decision to attend the visitation or not.
