CHAPEL 101 is a Training For Membership class designed to help you learn more about the basic beliefs and practices of Johnston Chapel. Knowing Christ, with commitment to Him and the church, is the primary goal of this class.

CHAPEL 101 is delivered in five consecutive 30 minute sessions:

Session 1 - Our Salvation

• What is the real meaning of life?
• Why am I here?
• What's the problem?
• What's the solution?
• How do I become a Christian?

Session 2 - Our Symbols

• Baptism
• Communion

Session 3 - Our Statements

• Our history
• Our purpose statement
• Our faith statement

Session 4 - Our Strategy

• Our strategy
• Our training program

Session 5 - Our Structure

• The overall structure of our church
• The affiliation of our church
• Membership in our church
• What now?

WHEN IS IT AVAILABLE?

Pastor John King will teach CHAPEL 101 on Saturday, May 17th from 9:00 a.m. to Noon in room #136. Refreshment breaks will be taken. Casual dress is appropriate.
