Dear Prayer Partners:

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

What a wonderful time of year to rejoice together in God's goodness!  Out of His great love, God freely gave His Son to become a sacrifice for our sin. The King of Kings left the radiance of heaven to become a baby in a feeding trough. We cannot even begin to imagine what an intense transformation this was. Yet He did it to give us the greatest gift of all--salvation and eternal life! This love is immeasurable, yet also unconditional. God loves you! What more could we ask for at Christmas?

I have been in America for 5 weeks. It has been a blessing to travel every weekend to share with supporting churches some of what God is doing in Ukraine. My visa application is in process.  The Embassy of Ukraine called me 3 weeks ago to say the application must be notarized and have an apostille from the US Department of State! Always some changes. It should have been at the Dept of State when the blizzard hit Washington, DC, and they were supposed to mail it directly to the embassy. Who knows where the application is now?!  Please pray that God will intervene to get the application to the right place so it is processed in time for my January 12 departure.

I still have several projects to complete while in the US. I need to gather several documents necessary for registration in Odessa when I return. I also heard about a new possibility for obtaining a medical license in Ukraine, but will have to get many transcripts and documents authenticated.

Thank you, Dr. Tim Murphy, for covering the clinics in Ukraine Nov 30--Dec 9.  The Lord is still working through the medical ministry there while I am Stateside!  There was a large number of patients at the Shamanovka clinic where several men and women are seriously seeking the Lord. Continue to pray for them.  Pastor Lonya planned to go there last Wednesday for the Bible study, but there was also a blizzard in Odessa! So he was not able to get out of Krasnosyolka that day.

Thank you so much for your faithful intercession for my ministry!  I would appreciate your prayers for provision of funds for the medicines I order from a Christian company in America twice a year for the clinics in Ukraine. These orders are not covered by my monthly support, which does cover the medicines I buy in Odessa. Also I am lacking about $200 in monthly support at this time. I am looking forward to seeing how God will provide these needs!
