James 5:19-20

Introduction - Have you ever had a part in saving someone from dying? As wonderful as that is, we can have part in a greater deliverance.

I. Be A Lifesaver Of Straying Believers

Facing discipline and the possibility of physical death.

B. The concern we should have – v. 20b

II. Be A Lifesaver Of The Unsaved

Facing the misery of a life without God and then death (eternal separation from God).

A. The wandering of the unsaved – Isaiah 53:6;

Romans 3:10-18, 23

B. The concern we should have – Romans 6:23;

Revelation 21:8

C. The action we should take – Luke 19:10

D. The deliverance that is experienced – John 5:24

Sins are covered by the blood of Christ, and souls are delivered from death.

Conclusion - Be a Lifesaver!

We are not on the decoration crew, but we are on the rescue squad.
