ROMANS  3:1-8

“No Excuses Allowed”

 

Introduction-

 

            In response to Paul, the religious man questions:

 

I.      THE  GOODNESS  OF  GOD – vv. 1-2

 

            God’s goodness in giving us His Word makes us more accountable to Him.

 

 

 

II.     THE  FAITHFULNESS  OF GOD – vv. 3-4

 

            God is faithful to His promises, including His promises to judge.

 

 

                       

III.   THE  JUSTICE  OF  GOD – vv. 5-6

 

            God is completely just to judge us for our sins.

 

 

 

IV.    THE  GRACE  OF  GOD – vv. 7-8

 

            God’s grace does not excuse sin, but teaches us to avoid sin.

 

                       

 

Conclusion-

 

            The only escape from God’s judgment is through Christ.
