I Thessalonians 1:5

I. There Is Power In The Gospel Message.

A. God has promised to bless His Word. – See Isaiah 55:10-11

B. There is inherent power in the Word of the Lord. – See I Peter 1:23-25

II. The Holy Spirit Applies The Message Of The Gospel.

A. Spirit-filled messengers need to proclaim the message.

B. The Holy Spirit will effect change in people’s lives.

III. The Gospel Can Be Proclaimed With The Assurance It Will Do Its Transforming Work.

A. Let us unashamedly share the Gospel with others. – See Romans 1:16-17

B. Let us do so with the conviction that there will be those who will believe and be saved.
