A Psalm of Thanksgiving

I. Thankful Adoration – v. 1

A. All nations are called upon to praise the Lord.

B. One of the evidences of man’s degeneracy is his failure to give thanks to the Lord. See Romans 1:18-23

C. In the future all nations will praise the Lord.

II. Thankful Service – v. 2a

A. Grateful recipients of God’s grace joyfully serve the Lord.

B. They joyfully serve the Lord, because they love Him.

III. Thankful Acknowledgement

A. The Lord is God.

B. He made us.

C. We are His people.

D. He cares for us as the sheep of His pasture.

IV. Thankful Access – vv. 2b, 4

A. We enter God’s presence with joy.

B. We give thanks and bless the Name of our Lord.

V. Thankful Proclamation – v. 5

A. The Lord is good.

B. His love endures.

C. His faithfulness is forever.
