James 4:13-17

II. The Uncertain Period Of Life - v. 14

A. Life is fleeting

Like a vapor that appears for a little time.

B. Death is certain

Life passes away. Each of us has an appointment with death.

III. An Unfailing Plan - v. 15

A. Salvation - II Peter 3:9

God is not willing that any should perish.

B. Sanctification - I Thessalonians 4:3

“For this is the will of God, your sanctification…”

C. Service - Romans 12:1-2

Yield your body completely to God to know His good, acceptable and perfect will.

Conclusion - Do what you ought to do now!

Don’t sin against God by not obeying Him. - v. 17
